I'm glad someone appreciates it!

I filmed all the heats, semis and finals of the 70m open, 120m Gift and 120m Women events. I also filmed 2 of the 400m heats and the final, and the 120m novice final.

I didn't do any distance events because it was a long hot day and I had no contenders in those events.

I'm not very good at uploading to youtube from a DVD. I've tried to do it but struggle with it.

Might have to seek out a computer geek who can help me.

Enjoyed watching it again last night; including several slow-motion replays of the start of the semis & finals. It made for some interesting viewing....I took a few notes. Wink

Long-Scafidi wins best gift in history
ABC News
4th December 2010

An Adelaide sprinter has won the 2010 Mount Gambier Gift, in what many say is the running race's best field in its history.

Wallace Long-Scafidi ran off a 7.5 metre handicap on Saturday evening and claimed the top prize in the $10,000 Mount Gambier Gift final.

The running race celebrated 10 years at Vansittart Park on Saturday and a top quality field helped celebrate the milestone.

Stawell Gift winners Adrian Mott, Daniel Millard and previous Bay-Sheffield winners Andrew Steele, Russell Scott and Todd Bateman were all a part of the action.

The finish to the 120 metre Gift was a close affair with Long-Scafidi closely followed by Ben Koschade and Ira Thomson.

In the women's Gift, Tamara Dartnell who's also from Adelaide, won a second trophy after also claiming the title in 2006.

Peter Hyde rounded out a successful day for the Adelaide-based runners by claiming victory in the Open 1500 metres event.

400 final must have been a good race to watch. 3 backmarkers on 12 or less. 2 of them finish in top 4

I didnt think Boden could give Matt H a start and beat him. Bodens improved a bit since last year.
