Who is your tip for Stonnington?

I think you mean Matt 'The Rabbit' Harvey.

a) IF there is a dead wind
b) IF 2012/13 gift winner are taken into consideration
c) IF carry over champ is John Nicolosi has been prepping for this
d) IF the Boss/Magic Marr really gives it a crack (unlikely the latter will..), IF, IF, IF… will see a final something in the vacinity of:

The Final
1st Edward WARE 6.75
2nd Andrew ROBINSON – 10.80
3rd Matthew HARVEY 9
4th Matthew HARGREAVES 5
5th Joshua ROSS -1.25
6th Bryce TEO 4.75

Other considerations, 2012/13 gift winner and last year’s winner:

Last years winner:
John NICOLOSI – will have to be happy with only $100 this year

2012/13 Gift winners:
– run out in the heats, semi at best, but he’s the peoples choice
Simon JACKSON – a darky, needs to have improved from Northcote
Noddy ANGELAKOS – a consistent Gift semi finalist, should go semi’s again, will do better at Noble Park, my tip for the 300
Adam MOORE – not listed as competing
Joel BEE – Gee wiz I hope he doesn’t make it!
Brian WRIGHT - not listed as competing
Bros KELLY – a certainty on making a semi me thinks, but won’t final
Rhys PARKINSON – the gift that keeps on giving, will have to try cope with NOT winning a sash at one meet for the season another who will be better placed at Noble Park, maybe another 70m there..
Shane EZARD - like BLAKE a bit of a people’s choice, though not doing it today, if his old legs can take it, he will Semi at Stawell with the estimated 2m Powell lift to top off a great season
Robert SPENCER – knocked out in the heats, another tip for the 300 at Noble
Glenn ROSS – will make the semi’s though will be outclassed
Richard HANKIN – will make up the semi’s but the Keilor penalty will see him out.

– Pandora’s box has opened slightly and my house his on him for Stawell (again) he is the worst kept secret in the VAL
Adrian MOTT – close to making a final but no cigar
Douglas GREENOUGH – even with a shot calf he might be able to be in the mix..

Nice work Vicoutsider

The real Marr will only show up if they blast out his theme song

Stonnington Gift

Bookmaker Geoff Miles will be in attendance for all those tips. They will be betting on all semi-finals and finals!

Brilliant to know, thanks SG, I'll have to come down and have a sneaky punt and a few beers as I'm sure the cricket boys will be running a bar, looking forward to watching what should be a cracking race! My memory is that the track has a nice uphill rise early so will this favour the front markers???

I'm not sure what vicoutsider is on about with some of his tips, what were you smoking tonight son? Pretty sure Jackson was within a bees doodle of winning the ballarat gift so clearly has improved from northcote.

Great post biggiesmalls! Those lyrics are ominous! I'm sure it will be getting a flogging at The Gift Hotel on Easter Monday. Not in peak form so far this season but Magic will get better every week from now on....
