I really think more work needs to be put into the marks of the Interstate visitors. Lemm was given 1.75m more than her SA mark then it was adjusted back 0.5m for some reason. SA and Tas womens marks stack up well as it is ,compared to the Victorian girls so to give them over and above makes it really hard for the girls who support the circuit week in week out. Also if they aren’t submitting results and this is why two of the finalists were brought back 0.5m after the heats, there really needs to be a bigger deterrent then that. It’s getting to be a regular occurrence if that was indeed the case.

100% right, in the end they will only run maybe two or three times a year.

Just so you know, the marks weren't moved back after the heats.
They each ran off the adjusted mark of 0.5m back in their heats.

Thanks for the heads up there Expeditious
I was going off what the book said and what Twitter had as their Semi mark. I understand with Kidd because she only won two weeks ago off 12m in SA but Lemm was on 7.50m in the same event so how she was given 1.25m over and above is perplexing. It was around her winning margin so may have got the chocolates anyhow and the race a lot better spectacle. Anyhow well done to Kayla she can only run to the best of her ability of her mark and that is what she did. Any SA athlete that comes to Stawell with 1.25m above their SA Mark will be very hard to hold out i’m afraid.
