So far there's been a few 'go's' at a number of runners but the one that intrigues me most is Edward Ware. His opening quote was conservative given his form at Burramine (12.97 raw time off 9.00m). Got the feeling someone at TAB Sportsbet might have had a hunch.

I remember watching him as a raw novice back in 2008, winning the Bill Howard 100m at Stawell off 6.0m in 10.41.

He has rarely done much since, making the odd final but hasn't exactly shown the form that won him the novice 100m at Stawell.

He did show up in the 70m final at Stawell in 2009, and at Maryborough last year he ran well to finish 2nd in the 70m off only 3.50m.

Has shot out to a very good mark for a Bill Howard winner who ran off 6.0, to now have 10.25. Great mark for a guy who ran just over a metre outside evens at Stawell as a novice.

If he is in the shape I think he is, I just reckon he might be the man everyone else has to beat.

Good mark and did make the trip down a couple of times which is always a good sign. Is he a doubt over the 120m though??

3 years in the system - should be a tad more stronger and mature than he was in 2008.

Good call - Ware has done the hard yards, turned up to several VAL meets over the last 3 years and earned his mark.

This looks almost certain to be his big crack at the title and a big chance - never likely to see 10.25m again.

Just wondering, who is Admin? Isn't Youngy the Administrator of this website?

When it was set up there were two administrators of which I was one of them.

When it first opened, I also registered 'youngy' mainly for opinion pieces and not to be confused with all admin posts.

Admin posts are for news & info reports.

Cheers
