Maybe a meet should introduce "pie chucking". I think PJ Bosch is the current world champion and apparently an esteemed member with legend status in the Pie Chucking Hall of Fame.

'DUNNO' about the name but banana hurling attracted plenty of entrants and a respectable audience at the sport's first outing at the Macksville Gift Carnival.
The inaugural World Championship Banana Hurl at the carnival on Saturday saw Tim Eschebach take home the trophy for the Men's open final and the $80 cash prize with an impressive 65.99-metre throw.
The Women's open final went to Emma Rynne with a 26.67m throw.
Youth winners were Stuart Perry, 48.22m and Brooke Pedrola, 35.5m.
Junior winners were Jaydn Brindley 39.61, and Jocelyn Pedrola, 25.77m.
All the winners received a share of the $600 prizemoney from Sub Tropical Banana Growers and the Nambucca Valley Banana Growers' Association; trophies donated by the Nambucca Valley Sub-branch of the Australian National Servicemen's Association, plenty of bananas and T-shirts.
Event co-ordinator Geraldine O'Flynn, the industry development officer for the sub-tropical banana industry, said the response to this first event had been very good and she would like to run it again next year.
