From the SAAL via Track News

Tamara Dartnall is this year’s winner of the Mort Daly Medal for the SA Athletic League’s top athlete after a series of brilliant performances in the summer of 2010 / 2011. Tamara was a popular winner of the prestigious award following a series of wins which included the 120m Women’s Bay Sheffield, 120m Women’s Mt Gambier Gift, 70m Women at Flinders and 300m Women’s at Whyalla. Tamara also had 5 second placings and 1 third placing.

Steve Butler’s efforts as Dartnall’s coach were part of the reason for him being voted Coach of the Season and the McKinnon Parade Athletic Club also had Ali Trewartha (Women’s Sprint) and Amy Robb (President’s Award) acknowledged on the night, as well as taking out the prestigious Club of the Year award.

Other SA Athletic League award winners were Jordan Caldow (Short Sprint and President’s Award), Michael Nitschke (Long Sprint), Robert Killmier (Middle Distance), Jarrad Watkins (Under 20), Lauren McHugh (Women’s Distance) Camden (Novice Club), Kane Russell(Under 17), Saraid Kustermann (Under 14), Ali Saliu (Over 35) and Brett Stokes (Over 45).
