1VRTA Results Empty 250 sashes for YGTS Mon Nov 19, 2012 8:36 am

Just a note, as I doubt it happens that often with stables these days, Simon Thompson's win in the 550m at Meadowglen was the 250th sash won by a YGTS athlete. The first sash was won by Jason Neve in February 1999 when Baulchy (Neve) won the Barmera 400m.

At the end of last season, YGTS had won 245 sashes in 14 completed seasons.

Hi All,

Full list of results available on the VRTA Website

It was a good run by Simon, and well deserved. He doesn't have many sashes, but I'm sure this is one he'll treasure. Congratulations.

We would also like to invite feedback on where we can improve our meeting too. Remember, this event is put on for the runner by the Runners & Trainer Association. If you do not help us out, we can only guess what you want.

Thanks to all the people that stuck up their hand and helped out, the day ran pretty smooth, and with many hands helping to assemble and dismantle the track, it was up and down very quickly and hade life pretty easy for Ian & Joy Cox.
