Wangaratta Women's 120m

Disappointingly there are only 27 entrants in the women's event at Wangaratta this week. It is not bereft of talent though. Cast a vote or two.

Apparently there is not a lot of focus on this race but even if the main vote getters make the final it will be a cracker.

J Payne 2.75m - 8% - 'Feel the' is back and running well enough to make finals. I don't feel that she has the ability right now to run close enough to 14 flat to win a women's race. Definite finals chance.

Liv Ryan 5.25m - 11% - Liv is a hard one to judge. She ran well at Rye so recent form looks good. She has a laconic style but in a couple of years she may have built a very impressive CV. If she were to win here, does she have enough to make another Stawell final? Final, top three at best.

Hannah Lindstom 9.5m - 11% - I seem to be writing something about Hannah each week. I don't think she is ready but given her coach's affinity with Wangaratta, could she make the final. She may need a little luck.

Gabriella Boulton 10m - 20% - Good votes here for Boulton. she ran 14.1 here last year to run second. I feel that this is a sash she wants to win. Definite chance of winning. Top two.

Kirtsty Stevens 10m - 14% - 'Cat' has been on this mark for a few seasons now and I don't feel that I have seen her take the win I thought she would. Unless they are going to lift the limit at Stawell, it may be pointless for her to take a win this season. She should final in my books but wont trouble the podium.

Karlee Bailey 10.25m - 10% - The Pakenham Panther has turned up this season looking good. I talked about her start last week and this is her best part of her race. She will get out well and if she manages to run out the last 20m she is in with a chance every week. Definite final, could go close. Top three.

This would make an excellent final.
