B Watkins (in great form)

The winner of the Port Adelaide Gift, Jordan Caldow is a 17 year old beach sprinter from Grange surf club, coached by Pete Burdett. Earlier this year he won the national under 18 beach sprint title and several weeks later ran 11.16s to beat some of SA's best junior 100m sprinters in the City v Country (May 2010) in his first foray into ASA athletics.

He will be competing in the ASA All Schools this week with an eye to compete in the national all schools at Doncaster (Melbourne) in December.

Apparently he wasn't that committed to his athletics until last year. After his terrific run yesterday, sounds like he's getting a lot more serious about the sport.

btw, Caldow will meet current junior state champion Michael Brusnahan (PB's: 10.94 & 21.69) in the U/18 100m & 200m all schools titles this weekend. Should be well worth having a look.

Bryce Watkins smashed them in the 550, gave kilmier a start and beat him easily. hes the best middle distance runner in SA coached by the best middle distance coach in SA. great combuination. should win a load of races. all aboard the bryce train. clay should have come to mckinnon so he can train with bryce.

Nice to see you supporting a stablemate (?), but don't get too far ahead of yourself. It was only the first meet, so whilst there's plenty to like about the way Bryce ran, there's a lot of running to be had between now & April.

Bryce Watkins looks stronger and more powerful. when he took off he made them all look second rate. Might turn out to be the best Watkins yet?

did I hear right on Sunday.Bryce thanked both Mick and Steve.Sounds like two trainers working together for the best result.Bryce certainly have to be the winner in that situation and obviously not going behind anyones back to improve himself.Well done Bryce

Couple of alterations to the results.Havent got the paperwork in front of me but I think Under 20s 550 was won by Nick Beins from Aiden Miller and Aaron Jelfs.
Change to the Novice ,I think Kayla Hammond finish third instead of S Roberts
Otherwise they look pretty good cheers

Great effort by Robie killmier. Won 1600 and 2nd in 550. Been a long time coming but this might be the year he steps up. I predict World Champs qualifier.

You are treading a very thin line here. The only reason some of it remains is that the original message did not mention any names.
