The votes are on the money this week for the 200m. For the purpose of this I am going to assume that everyone is running. This could be one of the great finals we see over this distance.
Ryan McNamara 8m 13% - Ryan has already picked up a handy metre for Stawell in the gift so why not try and pick off the 200m available at Maryborough. It should not be his focus for Easter time. He has speed, ability to compete over 400m. This is a good mark for someone of his talent. Definite final chance and could come home hard to go close.
Jasper Nettlefold 12m 10% - Jasper 'the friendly ghost' is another athlete that may go close in this one. For me he will need a little more than 4m to hold off McNamara. If you watch the tape from Sandy you will see he struggled slightly in the straight and could not overhaul Rosen. Another chance of a final but not in my top chances.
Michael Voumard 18m 13% - Watch this guy. He has a mark in this and the gift that are dangerous. I am not sure what his focus will be but one thing is for sure he will be thereabouts.
Tim Rosen 20m 17% - While sometimes I am unsure if the votes are for Tim to win or for me to write about him I may disappoint here because I think he is a top chance. He won VRTA off 22m and has definitely improved. The 'King of the Gifts' may add another 200m to his growing list of victories.
I like the spread of votes for this one. One of my top picks is not listed, I do not think he will win but will walk away with Stawell if he is not in the main final. Time will tell here.
