Usain Bolt Tells Pre-Classic Speedsters To Do It Again, Ato Boldon loves it

World Record Holder Usain Bolt Calls Out Prefontaine Classic Fast Times, Which Saw His Team-mate Mullings Leading The Way With A Sizzling 9.80secs. But Bolt Beat Him A Few Days Ago With 9.91.

Clermont, Florida (Sporting Alert) — Usain Bolt remains relaxed despite the numerous fast time achieved at the weekend, and he claimed that now is not the time to run your best.

The Jamaican World and Olympic champion followed the action from the Nike Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon and saw some electrifying times on Saturday.

Most notably was the stunning 9.80-seconds personal best performance by his fellow countryman Steve Mullings to win the men’s 100m dash over a strong field, which had six of the eight runners dipping below 10-seconds.

But Bolt, who opened his season with two 9.91secs performances in Rome and Ostrava, where he also took care of Mullings, says he will not be losing any sleep over those times at Hayward Field, as he’s seen it all before.

“Listen to me ppl (people),” the sprint world record holder over 100m and 200m tweeted after the races, “that’s the same track last US trial was kept and everybody ran fast and then they couldn’t repeat, OK. So please.”

And former sprinter Ato Boldon, who was in Eugene to see the races, loved that tweet.

Boldon said on his account: “Shots fired,” he mentioned, pertaining to Bolt’s comments.

He added: “Maybe finally we can get some talk going because @usainbolt just called out EVERYONE who ran fast today at Pre.”

Elsewhere, Bolt’s main rival Tyson Gay was also speeding as he flashed to a world-leading 9.79secs in Clermont at time many believe will not hold up on the IAAF list.
