Great debut by Sheppard in the 70. Good for the game he took his first opportunity. Imagine the damage he could have caused had he waited his time, running every 70 all year. Ends up on 9 plus and smashes 7.50sec at Stawell.

Would have been a lot sookie sookie la la's at Central Park!

Is there a concession that the event was run on tartan track?
Noticed that Hargreaves just missed out, does he get an adjustment to his HC as well? Target time for the 70m is 7.75, Jason ran adj 7.567sec and Shaun ran 7.616sec.
Good on him for winning though.

Adjustment for the wind but no adjustment for the track in times. I think the handicapper does take the synthetic track int account and anyone breaking net time isn't disadvantaged.

I think you are right, just interesting how much allowance would be given. I would probably argue that Shaun would be close to a ceiling hc with 1 or two lifts. IMHO

Standard pull for Epping for winner. We don't run on synthetic that often so has to be some leeway.
