I was just looking back at the break in the 70m Final and think that the Stawell starters have got it wrong...again.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts, but most certainly saw smoke well before the start, which means it was not a break.

Wouldn't it just be great if the officials could review that footage whenever there was a break? maybe not in the smaller meets, but the likes of Bay, Maryborough, Ballarat, Stonnington and Stawell. Just a thought.

Agree you see the smoke before the break however remember physics - light travels faster than sound you will always see the smoke before hearing the sound

Agree the Starters aren't having their best season, but I reckon they got it right with the break in the 70m final, to the naked eye it looked like he left early.
