One of the better races on the circuit as far as I am concerned. Not as many entries as an event of this stature deserves but there is a lot of quality in the mix. Who do we like?

This is another race that could have a very good final. I have already mentioned two of the poll favourites in the 200m but let's see where we can go here.

Matthew Eddy 7.25m 11% - Eddy always turns up to Maryborough in shape. He won his first Maryborough from above 10m and is now a threat from 7.25m. I think most people on the circuit like Eddy, a very humble sort of guy. If someone is going to win this for a third time I would be happy for it to be him. Not sure if he will though. Final chance.

Bros Kelly 8m 9% - Bros has snuck out in the marks and is looking fitter this year. I have a dot next to his name as I am sure he has the desire back if he did in fact lose it. Great mark if he is back but I do not think he could beat Nettlefold of nearly evens.

Michael Voumard 10m 14% - When will this guy win a top tier gift? Soon is my guess. Another metre would be very handy though.

Tim Rosen 12m 12% - 'The Man' is a sneaky chance here. Sneaky in that I am not sure others will give him a shot. I have him making the final and maybe walking towards the podium. 'The Tool Man' has improved as we have mentioned and should now be setting his sights on one of these top gifts. Whether it is Maryborough, Wangaratta, Stonnington, Ballarat or Bendigo, he should be going for the big one now.

Always love Maryborough, great visibility from the grand stand and the weather may be a little more comfortable this year.
