St Albans Womens 120m lift

After the excitement of Rye and Masters putting on a, well, masters clinic we move to St Albans. This race has some quality in it as well. Some highly fancied athletes are showing their form.

Who takes the win and lift?

St Albans intrigues me this week in both the Women's and Men's races.
According to the poll there are only a few chances. Let's take a look.

T Domaschenz - 4.5m 23% - Domaschenz is looking good. Her 2nd place at Rye should give many a positive feeling about her chances of taking a win and running well later in the year. I can see her winning soon and having a big crack at a final at Stawell. Can she keep going? Top two.

D Shaw - 5m 14% - Shaw sensationally won her first pro race in Tasmania. I believe she was handicapped by our own handicapper. She made the Burnie final as well after being pulled. With an astute pro coach she may have banked the mark and gone into hiding. I think she could have just about walked away with the Stawell sash. Off 5m she is a chance of a win, she would then be a chance of a final at Stawell. Top three

H Lindstrom - 9.5m 10% - I talked about Lindstrom last week. I feel that she is not quite ready. Given the small field she may scrape in to the final. I don't think she will win.

K Bailey - 10.25m 12% - Bailey is moving well. I did mention last week that she is electric off the block but hasn't found a way to run out the 120m. She will final and she will go close. Top four.

There is some quality in this race and it could be a great final. Will any of these ladies wait until Parkdale?

Maybe the handicapper has handicapped Shaw to her 100m hurdle pb.
