The first 0ver45s event of the season, the Retirement Strategies 300m race, was won by Alex Jefferies.

Tim Johnson blitzed the Over35s 120m again, winning off scratch despite a half metre lift to all the other runners after his easy win at Port Adelaide three weeks ago.

Alex Jefferies, who won his first sash at Flinders in the 200m last week, came second in a dead heat behind Tim Johnson in the City Of Charles Sturt Over35s 120m, equal with Daniel Flesfader.

Then Alex went on to win his second SAAL sash in the Retirement Strategies 0ver45s 300m ahead of Ross Hill-Brown and Geoff Troiano.

Tim also ran well in the Open 300m to finish 3rd.

And it was a wonderful hot sunny day full of feature performances with Stokesy's highlight being Amy Robb winning by a mile in the Womens 300m.

Just for the record, in case anyone had some issue with me going on the ground to obtain the results after each final yesterday, it is for the purpose of having the full results from each final posted within 24 hours of the meet.

If anyone else is willing to write down all the results during the meet and posting them later that night, I'm sure the SAAL would be keen to hear from you.

Yesterday I missed filming the last few finals because I had run out of time to get my camera organised.

Yesterday, it was nice to hear a couple of people (McKinnon Parade based) let me know they appreciated the publishing of the Flinders results.
