The Women's has a handy purse attached to it and a quality field assembling. 3 main chances according to the poll, let's take a look.

Jessica Payne 2m 22% - "Feel the' Payne is not someone you would usually say has a good handicap. Running off 2m will test even her out. A real talent and someone to watch. Will she win here? Not for me but she should final and run on well.

Taylah Perry 6.5m 16% - The pint sized Perry has those quick legs again judging by her placing at Maribyrnong. Results cannot lie. Can she run out a 120m at the moment is my big question here. I would expect her in a final too but not sure she will catch the entire field. Shane has done a great job with both these girls.

Anna Pasquali 10.5m 31% - Pasquali is a huge chance to win here. Great mark, good form. I would not think she will run a 400m heat before the final this weekend. How that was allowed is beyond me but that is another story. Much has been made of her generous lifts this season and while they are within the rules I would suggest that there may be a pull coming her way after this weekend. 1m minimum penalty. Watching her run in her younger years was a treat, she continues to impress. Could be a double for the family here.

Payne is a freak and will do some damage .She is very strong and very good out of the blocks one to watch her handicap will not stop her, can win from 2 , look at Rye and St Albans finished in the top 3 .Maddie was on the same Handicap and finished 5th

Taylah Perry short and quick like a bullet can and will do some damage, may make a final, do not dismiss her . Shane has done wonders with his 2 Girls and he should be super proud

Pasquali look at her handicap .A good runner should final and may win .If she doesn't there is something wrong .

Payne and Coates aren't in the same league Gofast. If you think Payne beat Coates on her merits in the St Albans final you are surely mistaken. The semi was a better indication of where they are at and I believe the margin may even be a bit further then that. Having said that Jess Payne's improvement has been phenomenal this season and is a testament to the obvious hard work she has put in with Shane. A Bay Sheffield win in emphatic fashion, you can't ask any more then that but she couldn't possibly beat Coates in any clash for the remainder of the season off the same marks that is for certain. But she could win Wang if she wants to.
